She defines spirituality as feeling and embodying the presence of God, 24/7. This leads to an insistence on enjoying life, no matter what. Her primary influences are Ernest Holmes, Bill Wilson, Dr. Bob Smith, Julia Cameron, Edward Viljoen, Thich Nhat Hanh, Edwene Gaines, Neale Donald Walsch. And many many more.
Rev. Karen lives in Minden, Nevada with her husband Floyd, dog Zeke and cat Yang. Her horse Sonny Q lives just down the road. She has 30 years of experience in her prior day job of owning and operating a photography studio, and still does a few weddings and portraits, as well as private photography tutoring.
Here are a few words from Karen:
“I believe our connection with God to be THE most important thing in life. That provides the foundation from which we can successfully handle life on life’s terms and be happy and at peace. It is also the foundation which allows us to make and act on good decisions and be comfortable inside our own skin. Every talk I give, every class I teach, every workshop I create is done from this foundation and has the ultimate goal of allowing my students to know and connect with a God of their understanding.
I believe my role as spiritual leader is to comfort those who are uncomfortable, teach those who are teachable, pray for and release with love those who are not, and aid in the spiritual growth of anyone who presents themselves to me.
I consistently hold CSLCC in high watch, as I do each of the members there.”
